“Meritum Cloud worked very diligently to get our Azure Site Recovery (ASR) implemented, including thoroughly investigating some errors that were arising. I was impressed how they didn’t want to skim over these, even though they were not of their making,” comments Olu.”

Meritum Cloud catalyze digital transformation journey for Lawson West Solicitors with Azure Site Recovery
Lawson West is a law firm supporting individuals and businesses for over 40 years. They are based in Leicestershire and have a wide range of legal services.
For three years, they have been looking for new technological solutions to increase their efficiency and productivity.
It was also about improving the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery and data recovery protocols using Azure Site Recovery.
In 2019, Olu Modupe participated in one of the Meritum Cloud workshops and stated that these workshops are informative and straightforward; hence he decided to introduce Meritum Cloud to cooperation.
The Challenge
Lawson West wanted to have more control over the environment with less dependence on third-party hosting. To achieve this, it was essential to move away from any physical dependencies on tin and bricks and mortar data center locations and to virtually replicate our existing servers to the cloud.
They needed steps to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery using Azure Site Recovery.
The Solution
Meritum Cloud conducted a study of the Lawson West infrastructure, and together the two companies discussed the method of operation and implementation of the project.
The environment was successfully recreated with the help of Azure Site Recovery, and thus it was possible to run a business from the cloud.
After the tests, it was found that Azure Site Recovery enables data recovery up to the last 15 minutes, which means no data loss.
The adoption of the cloud helped Lawson West tighten its infrastructure management and gain greater control over the technology they need.
