If you have followed CTX127527 to manually install all the required components for Desktop Studio and you are still getting this error at launch.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Reload the snap-in to retry.
You have either not installed the x86 SQL Shared Management objects or you have a missing registry key.
There’s two ways that you can fix this. Either install the x86 SQL Shared Management Objects from the XenDesktop CD. This is located in
SupportSharedManagementObjectsx86
Or create the missing registry key that Desktop Studio is looking for. I have included this below. Just copy it into a .reg file and run it
